DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND GARDENS
The Department of Parks and Gardens is a government institution responsible for the formulation, development, implementation and promotion of environmental landscape beautification and the creation of such awareness in the built and natural environment of Ghana. The Department provides the following products and services:
- Sale of plants
- Sales of other horticultural products i.e. tools, agrochemicals, pots etc.
- Floral products i.e. wreaths, bouquets etc.
- Training in horticulture
- Landscape services
- Recreational services i.e. guided tours, lawns for video etc. at Aburi Botanic Gardens
- Rental of grounds
- Educational tours
- Rental of potted plants
- Pest and disease control i.e. disinfection and disinfestation
